About to fall off the cliff, Flora tries to steady herself in ways that have worked in the past, and claws at a new one that others have fabricated.
Meet your Playwright:
Christine Rosensteel is a Dramatist Guild member who studied playwriting at The University of Southern California (Masters of Professional Writing Program). L.A. Weekly’s review of Three One Acts gave this endorsement of her writing: “Rosensteel possesses a true ear for dialogue and a fresh idiosyncratic take on character.” Academy Award Nominees Ed Asner and June Squibb were featured in Staged Readings of her play, “Whatever Your Heart Desires” at The Colony Theatre in Burbank and Theatre Forty in Beverly Hills. Last January, Susan Diol directed a Staged Reading of the same play at The Road Theatre, featuring Richard Herd and his wife Patricia Herd, Paris Perrault, Ben Theobald, and Tim Wardell. Rosensteel’s latest play, “Sparks” will be presented in a Staged Reading at Theatre Forty, featuring Ed Asner, in the near future.
