I’m at a Loss by Erik Moth

Meet your Playwright:  

Erik Moth is a sophomore Musical Theatre major at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He lives in Louisville, Ky where he graduated from DuPont Manual High/Youth Performing Arts School as a theatre major. He studied playwrighting there for 3 years with Brian Hinds. Erik is also a graduate of the Governors School for the Arts in Kentucky. Erik is mainly an actor, in 2014 he performed in Edinburgh, Scotland in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He would like to thank his family and friends, his teachers, his director, and The Road Theatre for being the first theatre to produce his work!  

 

Meet your Director:  

Suzanne Hunt – At the Road, Suzanne directed the premiere of Finding Fossils by Ty DeMartino which won several Scenie Awards and she has been honored to direct each year of the Summer Playwright’s Festival. Suzanne is also Artistic Coordinator at the Classical Theatre Lab where she recently directed a production of the Restoration comedy, The Country Wife, for the City of West Hollywood. As an actor, Suzanne has appeared in over 100 commercials, network television shows, films and in award-winning stage plays.  She is a certified teacher in the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique and is on the theatre faculty at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Pasadena City College where she has directed several main stage productions including, Eurydice, The Laramie Project and The Great Gatsby. At the festival she is pleased to be directing Erik Moth’s I’m At A Loss, which she hopes will encourage, nurture and help to develop a talented young playwright.
