Sanctions follows the story of a university athletic department returning to the big business of college football after their NCAA probation is lifted. However, some staff conflict and a new scandal involving a freshman tutor threatens to blow up the whole program.

Bruce Graham is the author of 14 published plays: 13 with Dramatists Play Service and 1 with Samuel French. PLAYS: Coyote on a Fence (Winner of The Rosenthal Prize) Something Intangible (winner of 7 Barrymore Awards including Best New Play) Any Given Monday (Barrymore winner for Best New Play) The Outgoing Tide (Joseph Jefferson Award, Best New Play), White Guy on the Bus, to name a few. Fully Accessible and The Happy F!@#$%G Blind Guy have been published in Best Ten Minute Plays 2013/14. His one man show The Philly Fan plays throughout the Philadelphia area. He has received grants from the Pew Foundation, the Princess Grace Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation and the Philadelphia Theatre Initiative. He is the co-author of the book, The Collaborative Playwright. He teaches film and theatre courses at Drexel University and divides his time between South Philly and Elkton, Maryland with Stephanie.
