The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse

Three conversations taking place in the same bar on the same night. Six characters finding what they need: the first a conversation about regret that might not have happened, the second a conversation about resentment that had to happen, and the third a conversation about longing, that will never happen. Two actors, six characters, one lonely bar in the East Village on a rainy night.

The Lighthouse is written by Elizabeth Sampson and is comprised of three one-acts, Irish Coffee, Rocky Shoals and It Was the Lark. All three were first seen in past Summer Playwrights Festivals (SPF 3,4,7) and inaugurate the Road’s Pathways Series which brings festival plays to a workshop production.
